Faces of El Shatt - the 70th anniversary

Photographs dating from September 1944 and clearly show people and everyday life in refugee camp in El Shatt, will be shown for the first time in Croatia (71 total photos). The photos came from the holdings of the American Library of Congress. The author is Otto Gilmore, a photographer who at the time lived in El Shatt per mission of the American Office of War Information (Office of War Information).

The exhibition will be open until September 27th in Photoclub Split.
